Since “Home” is a song mostly about their fans. This line is saying how BTS is a worldwide group so their “Home=Fans” are all around the world, then the whole world is basically their home.
The "ocean" or the "sea" is a metaphor for all the hope that after the "dessert" they'll finally get to the "sea". It also represents all the achievements and success that BTS have achieved after wandering in the "dessert" for so long.The "dessert" is a metaphor for all the hardships and despair that they've faced during the journey to the sea.
This line is a direct parallel to BTS' debut song “No More Dream” which states:
Hey, is that you dream? I wanna big house, big cars, & big rings But in reality, I don’t have any big dream
In 2019, BTS now have all these things that seemed like pipe dreams when they debuted. However, they express the futility of these materialistic things, because despite having them there’s still a sense of emptiness that possessions can’t fill.
