I live in Ağrı and I can see that mountain too. And the Turkish name of the Mountain comes from my city

I know 90% of the mountain is in Turkey today but it was historically Armenian that is why we still value it so much. Plus its kinda inavoidable as it is so tll and visible from everywhere.

Hello, Lyricalmiracle, with a glance at Wikipedia, I found this:
"Mount Ararat forms a near-quadripoint between Turkey, Armenia, Iran, and the Nakhchivan enclave of Azerbaijan. Its summit is located some 16 km (10 mi) west of both the Iranian border and the border of the Nakhchivan exclave of Azerbaijan, and 32 km (20 mi) south of the Armenian border."

So I guess we can't apparently say it's in both Armenia and Turkey.

Beautiful memories come to my mind when I hear Mount Ararat. I saw it when I was in Iğdır last summer. Yes, Ararat straddle the borders of what are present-day Turkey, Armenia, Iran, and Azerbaijan. As far as I remember there is traditionally considered the resting place of Noah's Ark and also, is not so far to Yerevan (I think it's like an hour more or less from the capital)

There are many legends about Mount Ararat.
And I love the photographs where İshak Pasha Palace and Mount Ararat are in the same frame. It looks fascinating.

Mount Ararat is a sacred place, doesn't matter if you are a religious person or not, and it has all my respects. When I saw it I was amazed and I got shocked
