Слова Христа, Учителя благого
Сокрыты в нас, в сердечной глубине.
И ты, и я – мы все письмо Христово,
Его читают люди на земле.
Большая книга – наша жизнь земная,
И ветер в ней страницы шевелит.
На тех страницах боли и страданья,
И радость светлая, как луч горит.
Там жар сердец, труды, стремленья наши,
Молитвы тихие и зов души.
О жизни нашей те страницы скажут:
Живые, говорящие они.
Читают люди жадно нашу книгу,
Они увидеть Господа хотят.
А хорошо ль письмо Христа в нас видно?
И может ли прочесть, что нужно взгляд?
Христос писал письмо своей любовью,
Своею жизнью – Кровию Святой.
О, если б наша жизнь была такою,
Чтобы не стерся почерк дорогой.
Тот почерк – правды и глубокой веры,
Терпенья и негаснущей любви…
Все эти чувства пусть в нас не померкнут,
Чтоб люди узнавать Христа могли.
И ты, и я – мы все письмо Христово,

Both you and me - we are all the letter of Christ,
It is read by people on earth.
The big book is our earthly life,
And the wind moves the pages in it.
On those pages of pain and suffering
And joy is bright, like a ray burns.
There is a heat of hearts, our labors, our aspirations,
Silent prayers and the call of the soul.
Those pages will say about our life:
Alive, they speak.
People eagerly read our book,
They want to see the Lord.
Is Christ's letter well visible in us?
And can you read what you need a glance?
Christ wrote a letter with his love,
By my life - by the Holy Blood.
Oh, if our life were like this
So as not to rub off the handwriting dear
That handwriting is of truth and deep faith,
Patience and enduring love .
All these feelings may not fade in us,
So that people can recognize Christ.
Both you and me - we are all the letter of Christ,
It is read by people on earth .
