Не снимайте крест нательный,
Я целую этот крест,
Белоризцы возжигают в небе свечи,
В день успения, как милость, ввысь уходит благовест,
Не забудьте помолиться в этот вечер.
Улетят на запад птицы,
И воздух лицо покроет,
И следы от колесницы
Запоздалый ливень смоет…
И у лестницы высокой
Двадцать гибельных ступеней,
Помолюсь страдальцу Богу,
Преклонив пред Ним колени…
