"Popee the Clown" (ポピーthe クラウン Popī za Kuraun) is the theme song for Popee the Performer. This, and the instrumental version, sometimes plays when something bad happens in the show, usually the characters dying for whatever reasons. It is composed by Osamu Tezuka (NOT to be confused with the famous Tezuka who died in 1989), and sung by Aoyagi Tsuneo.
There are also variants of the theme song. The first one is the Japanesque (Papi) version, and the other one is the translated version. [There is 2 types of versions of the songs]
