На широкой, большой дороге,
На московской, на кольцевой
Пес сидел, там,
Где спуск пологий,
Пес породистый,
Чуть живой.
Он сидел на земле холодной,
И спокойно глядел вперед.
Перед ним из машин колонны,
Ну а в них занятой народ.
А водители удивлялись:
Чья собака, чего сидит?
Что-то крикнуть ему пытались-
Больно жалобно пес глядит.
Метрах в ста, если взять на запад
Милицейский дорожный пост
Лейтенант молодой, помятый
Здесь исправную службу нес
Пронеслась в голове картина:
Что случилось пять дней назад,
Как девятка, скользя, вонзилась,
Прямо с лету, КАМАЗу в зад.
После резали автогеном,
Вынимали троих людей.
Из объятий стального плена
На спасателей пес глядел.
За секунду семья погибла.
Лейтенант протокол писал.
Ну а случай, сегодня, видно,
Только пса убивать не стал.
И сидел пес шестые сутки
И с надеждой смотрел вперед.
Он все ждал, умирая жутко,
