The novel of the Soviet writer and poet Sergei Markov, an active member of the Geographical Society, author of numerous articles and books on the history of travel and geographical discoveries, was recognized by renowned scholars and writers in our country and abroad, survived several reprints, translated into Polish, Czech, Romanian and other languages.
The events described in the novel "Yukonsky Raven" are based on the historical material of the era of the great Russian geographical discoveries in the Pacific, Asia, North-West America.
